Discussion event: 'Barriers to growth; where are yours and how do you address them?
22.03.18 by BBSPThe Threads discussion group returns on Wednesday 2nd May. Exclusively for founders and business leaders, it's a chance to discuss factors that may be unique to your operation or are encountered at a regional level, exploring how others are addressing common issues.
- Space; do you have what you need, was it hard to find, are you concerned about getting hold of more?
- Money; have you needed to raise finance, will you need to raise more soon, does a need for investment slow you down?
- People; can you get the staff you need, can you keep them, do you need to train up the people you take on?
- Management; do you have the skills needed to manage more people, do you have people who can step up into management, is there a training or experience gap when it comes to leadership?
- Sales; are customers your limiting growth factor, how do you find customers, do they come easily?
- Delivery; do you struggle to keep up with sales, can you scale what you do (make / provide)?
- Infrastructure; are there things you need from the wider community in order to grow, would these things be more readily available elsewhere?
We operate Chatham House rules for a full and frank discussion. It's an opportunity to gauge your thinking and seek fresh perspective from people whose judgement you can value.
Threads is 1800hrs - 2000hrs, meeting from 1730hrs.
