                            Mon – Thu 0900-1700 and Fri 0900-1630. 

Salary:                 £28,000 - £32,000 Full-Time (subject to experience).

Job Description

Reporting to the Project Delivery Manager, we’re looking for a bright, personable Service Delivery Assistant, with at least 1-2 years experience, to join our friendly team in a dynamic, fast growing company based within the Bristol & Bath Science Park.  Working within the Project Delivery Team, this role will assist the Team in the delivery of AMX software to new and existing clients in timely and controlled manner.  The role is subject to a 6 month probationary period.
 

Responsibilities

Account Management Support

• Customer facing support to capture client’s software needs to generate and agree requirements specifications.
• Configuration and Customisation of AMX system to meet client requirements.
• Assist with data imports from existing client asset system into AMX.
• Troubleshooting technical issues.
• Oversee testing of AMX to meet specified requirements.
• Create client support documentation where required.
• Adhere to best working practices as defined in ISO & AMX Policies.

Project Management Support

• Using Waterfall or Agile PM, create and update project artifacts including product and sprint backlogs
• Define tasks to deliver requirements and work with Dev team to deliver.
• Support documentation creation, support articles, client training manuals and client specific user guides.
• Any other task as directed by the Line Manager.

Required Skills and experience

• Ability to confidently communicate technical/non-technical issues with clients.
• Experience capturing client requirements and producing functional specifications.
• Understanding of data analysis/ migration.
• Experience working with clients to gather their system requirements.
• Ability to accurately specify client technical requirements for Development Team.
• Experience troubleshooting technical issues or documenting for Development Team to resolve.

Desirable Experience

• Highly desirable – experience with MS SQL Studio and Query language (SQL)
• Waterfall/ Agile PM experience
• Working knowledge of programming and/or query language.
• Previous experience working with ISO (9001 & 27001) would be advantageous.
• Highly desirable – experience with MS SQL Studio and Query language (SQL)
• Working with MS Azure.

Qualifications

• A degree in Computer Science, or equivalent, is very advantageous.
• Minimum HND or NVQ Level 3/4 in the relevant subject, or equivalent.
• A Level English, or similar, with good grammar and attention to detail.
• Full, clean driver’s licence for client visits (once trained).
