Quality Engineer (Part Time)

Reporting to: Operations Director
As Quality Engineer at Cubik you will work with all departments and teams to guide the focus on quality assurance and quality control. You will also help to develop processes, procedures and implement systems that ensure the services, products and processes fulfil quality standards, meet safety regulations, and satisfy customer expectations.
Responsibilities and duties
- Oversee the delivery of Quality Management Systems:
- Champion the internal quality audits.
- Champion the internal Management Review Meetings.
- Champion the upkeep of SOPs, QSPs, Manuals and other quality documents.
- Oversee the quality of deliverables internally:
- Act as “gate keeper” for files leaving design.
- Champion the “right first time” mindset within the team.
- Champion the collaboration between departments for overall project success.
- Support and develop knowledge of Product Compliance testing:
- Support the testing of products to various international standards.
- Support the delivery of documents required for those standards.
- Develop your own understanding and knowledge of these standards.
- Support the internal and external understanding of these standards.
- Oversee the quality of deliverables externally:
- Act as “gate keeper” for files and products leaving Cubik.
- Champion the systems and procedures to help us reach the “0 Returns” KPI.
- Introduce Policies and Procedures where necessary to facilitate the above responsibilities.
- Support the SMT with tasks focussed on quality.

Technical:
- You should have a relevant qualification at degree level and 3 years’ relevant experience or have a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience.

- Support the Operations Director with quality systems.
- Ensure your work, and that of the team, is to the best of everyone’s ability and supports the business mission statement.
Skills / Experience:
- This position should have a relevant qualification at degree level and 3 years’ relevant experience or have a minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience.
