Embedded Software Engineer (Reference CUB/016)

Cubik Innovation are seeking a range of Embedded Software Engineers, of all levels and experience. If you have a passion for embedded software and are looking for a new challenge, we want to hear from you.
The Role
Successful Software Engineers will be hard-working, knowledgeable, driven, and able to work alongside the wider teams within the business, to ensure projects are delivered both on-time and within budget.
You’ll be able to prioritise your workload and seek excellence through high quality workmanship. As part of your role, you will work on multiple active projects alongside your team members to enable best practice and the continual improvement of the Company's design services.
About you
The successful candidate will have experience of:
- Low-level embedded C development
- The full product development life cycle
- Microprocessor peripheral driver development, especially for serial communications (i.e., UART, I2C, SPI)
- Developing OTA comms protocols (i.e., Command Interfaces, Bootloaders)
- Use of software version control methods
And have some knowledge of:
- Hardware schematics
- System testing
- Legacy and current systems
Highly desirable additional experience:
- Mobile development (Android / iOS)
- Linux (iMX)
- Python
- Java
- Microsoft Visual Studio C# / C++
- Software documentation (i.e., UML, Doxygen)
